I was diving in Galapagos last year (2006) and saw one solo Mola - my first Mola sighting! So here is the report:

The year is 2006 not 2007 - appx 80 feet of water - temperature recorded at this time was 59F. The time was 17:57 GMT 1/100th sec f 4.5 40 mm lens at ISO 800 cropped moderately shot from about 30 ft away (Isn\'t digital great!) I estimate 7 Ft in height. The location is Roca Punta Vicente, Isla Isabela, Galapagos - appx S 0 deg 3.26 min - W 91 deg 33.68 min There was a large school of Salema and also a small sea turtle on this site but nothing else noted. No jellies.

Here is a link to some of my images, including the Mola photo - www.rwrcreatures.com - click on \"see and purchase images\" (don\'t buy any, I\'ll give you a hi res digital file if you like)and go to page 4 - thank you - keep up the great work!
